US-based VoIP service provider Vonage has now more than two million lines in service.

Commenting on the achievement, companys CEO Jeffery Citron says,

As we continue to grow our business, innovation will be a key Focus. To move the industry forward we must create tools that enable people to communicate when, where and how they choose, on their terms.

Obviously, activating over two million lines is a milestone for both Vonage and other industries. Will this achievement change the fate of Vonage, which is struggling in the VoIP market in wake of increasing competitors?
