VoIP is now a common technology. The use of the VoIP is on rise among the financial institutions and operators. For them, VoIP means reducing telecom costs. In fact, VoIP enabled them.

The recently held HITB (Hack In The Box Security) Conference in Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur has alerted the Voice world towards phishing attacks. Speaking at the conference, an eminent researcher Gruqg stated that VoIP phishing attacks would emerge by the end of this year. The attacks will allow hackers to steal personal data, including card numbers and bank accounts information.
