VoIP is not a mass-used technology in Europe

Shall we consider VoIP a mass technology or class technology? The findings of recent Forrester report eventually poses this question, at least in Europe.
In its latest report, the research firm claims that VoIP is not so wide spread in a strict sense. Only eight percent of European consumers have embraced the technology, although most of the customers in the continent have heard of VoIP.
The reason of law-rate adoption is lack technical knowledge among the users despite the constant efforts led by companies to provide voice services in the handheld devices.
We can not also deny the fact that the poor call quality and call failure of VoIP services in comparison to traditional landline or mobile services is also responsible for the low adoption of this latest voice technology.
