In line with its upcoming corporate communications service, Talkster Inc has made a demonstration of its unique VoIP network that enables customers to make calls from ordinary mobile phones to traditional and next generation voice services including MSN and Google Talk.
The TMCnet reports that the newest network connects handheld phones to VoIP networks and devices. For this connection, it does not require phone numbers, just like IP-PBX office phones found in a corporate IP network.
The company has made a beta release of this latest service that virtually brings down the cost of international long distance and roaming charges. At the same time, it enables mobile phones to call instant messenger with voice services including MSN and Google Talk.
Any mobile phones can use the Talkster beta service without installing any special software, special networks or convoluted calling methods. Calls to IM services are free during this beta.
