Taipei plans to cover city with VoIP network

Taipei government is planning for mega VoIP networks for mobile services. The government is hoping that approximately 200,000 citizens will make telephone calls using VoIP with Wi-Fi networks by the end of year.

The government has got 10 companies work for their project named ‘Taipei Easy Call’.

The government is planning to expand the services, if they will get successful test result in Taipei. They will provide VoIP systems in public middle and elementary schools using traditional telephony services.
