A new all-in-one plug and play call recording solution was unveiled by OrecX at the Internet Telephony Conference and Expo in 2009 in Miami today. The OrecX can record up to 200 VoIP sessions simultaneously. It combines OrecX Oreka TR Total Recorder with 1U, a Linux based rack-mounted server.
“The OrecX VoIP Recording Appliance answers a real need in the market for an easy-to-install, easy-to-use hardware/software combination that is also easy on the budget,” said Bruce Kaskey, COO of OrecX. “No significant technical knowledge is required with the OrecX VoIP Recording Appliance-just plug it in and it works. What’s more, the appliance integrates with any phone system and supports all major protocols, making it a universal solution.”
Intended for small to medium businesses, OrecX says that the product is suitable for contact centers, legal offices, sales/transaction personnel, public safety agencies and more.

The OrecX VoIP Recording Appliance, including rack-mount server and pre- installed Oreka TR total recorder software, is priced under $3,500 and includes twelve channel licenses, with more channels available. The unit is being displayed February 2-4 from OrecX’s 2009 IT EXPO EAST exhibit, Booth D- 06 in the Miami Beach Convention Center.
