Philips introduces Skype VoIP 321 in NZ market

skype-voip-321_28 In a bid to dominate New Zealand VoIP market, Philips has introduced two VoIP phones, Skype VoIP321 and Windows Live Messenger (LM) VoIP433 for the residential users as well business enterprises.

The common feature of both these cordless phones is that they operate on DECT (Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telephone) technology and enable the users to make and receive calls on both PSTN and VoIP networks from a single handset.

The VoIP321 is a Skype phone because of its Skype features such as free web calls to Skype users, conferencing, Skype IM and file transfer. Besides these, it displays online friends, enables landline calls through SkypeOut and SkypeIn services. It has 10 hours talk time and 100 hours standby.

While, the VoIP433 has been designed for Microsoft. It facilities customers to call and connect to other users listed in the Windows Live Messenger contact list.

The cost of Philips VoIP321 is NZ$189.98 and NZ$229.95 for Philips VoIP433.
