Comcast has now more than two million voice customers

The Comcast Digital Voice is the most popular home phone service in USA providing customers unlimited local and domestic long-distance calling facilities. It also includes online call management, E911 service, voicemail and other VoIP applications.

Cathy Avgiris, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Voice Services at Comcast commented,

The momentum our voice product has experienced since it was launched is simply staggering. We anticipate continued growth for the Digital Voice product and look forward to unveiling additional innovative features and services to our customers.

The growing popularity of Comcast Digital Voice challenges regular VoIP players like Vonage, Verizon as customers prepare bundled services from a single service provider.

Triple Play service takes Comcast to a new height

Comcast, Americas largest broadband and cable service provider has made profits during the third quarter for its high quality Comcast Digital Voice and Triple play service.

Comcast has registered nearly 29,000 broadband subscribers for the quarter. Now the broadband subscribers base of Comcast has increased to 536,000 from 507,000 from the previous quarter. While, the digital voice subscribers has touched to 483,000 from 72,000.

The company has also registered more than 558,000 digital cable customers for Q3. The total number of customers for this service during the last quarter was 315,000.

Riding by its Triple Play success, the broadband company has gained a net income of $1.2 billion, or 58 cents per share. In terms of revenue, it is $6.43 billion.

Comcast adds one million Digital Voice Customers

Americas leading cable operator Comcast has added more than one million subscribers for its Comcast Digital Voice services in less than two years. The growth can be attributed to the aggressive marketing strategy and continual ad campaign rollout of a $33 per product first-year bundle of phone, high-speed and video services.

Steve Burke, CEO of Comcast Corporation says,

Comcast Digital Voice and the Triple Play bundle continue to exceed our expectations. Customers are attached to the convenience of the service and the value of the $333 offer.

The company is increasing its job growth projections this year to meet the accelerating customer demand for the bundle and Comcast Digital Voice service, he added.

As of now, Comcast has a 66,000-member cable division workforce enabling customers to connect Comcast Digital Voice and other cutting-edge cable, entertainment and communications products and services. Nearly 4,000 employees will join them.
