PodCasts Turns to Phonecasts

Source: snapvoip.blogspot.com

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Phonecasting.com’s unique killer app allows publishers to assign an XML RSS feed to the website’s ‘Enter RSS Link’ field to get a vanity number for their podcasts.

Now listeners can try out the ‘Call Me’ service to hear those podcasts by simply creating an account at Phonecasting.com and following these simple steps:

  1. Click on the Home Page and choose any of the ‘Popular Podcast’ offerings
  2. Click on any one of the Blue ‘Call Me’ icons adjacent to the green ‘Listen by Phone’ link
  3. In the ‘Call To’ field input your 10 digit phone number, either landline or cell
  4. The second ‘Podcast’ field will have the actual podcast number you can call anytime you wish
  5. The third field requires your account password, then
  6. Click submit

A phone number is automatically assigned to that podcast. When the latest podcast from your favorite publisher is made available on Phonecasting.com you’ll get a phone call to alert you. You can either listen to the podcast then and there, or call back and listen at your convenience. You can even schedule when you want your podcast to call you.

If you’re unable to receive the call at your previously scheduled time…no worries…you will see that vanity number on your caller ID and call it back to listen to the podcast whenever you wish.
