Skype has released a beta version of Skype v2.6. In other words, not all the Skype users can use it for the time being. It is under construction.

I found following features of the latest version at the Skype site:

1.Click to call ordinary phone numbers on any website

2.Find and join Skypecasts in the live tab.

3.Share your favorite links in mood message. They are clickable.

4.Search the web with the Google Toolbar (optional install).

A Tom Keating post says another big release would be Skype 3.0 beta next month. It will have the plug in support.
