Rolls-Royce launches Single Voice Network

Rolls-Royce, collaborating with Nortel is spending 20 million dollars to start a single voice network running VoIP. As per the seven-year deal, Nortel will provide infrastructure for the new global voice network. It includes design, integration and deployment of VoIP equipment and software, along with management and maintenance of the existing TDM-based network.
The new Rolls-Royce global voice network will offer a complete package including voice calling services, unified voice, fax and e-mail messaging, and see the introduction of advanced mobility services. Around 26,500 customers from Canada, France, Germany, Norway, England and America will access the package.
