Following are the some of the important developments occurred around the VoIP world this week.

1.USRobotics has launched a mini webcam USR9640 USR Mini Cam that supports Skype services.

2.UCN, the VoIP solution provider has released its inContact/VoIP Service, which allows companies connect both traditional TDM and VoIP stations into the hosted inContact advanced contact handling application.

3.Ophone Communications has come up with Ophone.net service that offers free international VoIP calling services to the customers to more than 35 countries including USA, Canada, China, Germany, Taiwan and South Korea.

4.The final version of Crossbow, the codename of Windows Mobile 6.0 is coming to the market during the first half of 2007. While, Photon will unify smartphone and Pocket PC into one platform in the year 2008.

5.You must be heard of Gtalk2VoIP, an application that transform Google Talk into a full VoIP application enabling users to call from Gtalk to a phone number and vice versa. Here is another application that further glorifies Gtalk2VoIP service. It is the Talkonaut, a Java client.

6.Verizon Wireless bundled its VoIP services in a latest camera phone Kyocera K323 that possess all sorts of attractive features.

7.Mobile giant Nokia is launching a network operator solution that would enable operators to block Peer-to-Peer services such Skype and other IM-based Voice solution.

8.France Telecoms subsidiary Orange and TeliaSonera have signed a landmark VoIP agreement under which TeliaSonera would integrate its IP-based services in the Nordic and Baltic area with Oranges global IP services.
