VoIPshield has released a new VoIPguard VoIP Intrusion Prevention System product for small businesses and branch offices. The VIPS 10 is an entry-level model.
“As more and more VoIP telephony products hit the market with similar features and functions, resellers and VoIP service providers are looking to differentiate themselves from their competition,” said Rick Dalmazzi, President and CEO of VoIPshield Systems. “Our VoIP IPS (VIPS) products are priced to allow solution providers and enterprises to install secure VoIP systems at a cost per endpoint that is only marginally higher than an unprotected system.”
VoIPguard products run in either IDS or IPS mode. They protect the PBX and endpoints against attacks as well. The VoIPshield Authorized Solution Partner program has also been expanded to include coverage areas outside the U.S. and Canada.
:To successfully expand into new markets we rely heavily on the technical skills and sales expertise of our channel partners, who are the experts in determining their customers’ needs and finding the most effective security solutions,” said Paul Dombowsky, Director of Channel Development for VoIPshield. “We are delighted to be represented by a very capable and accomplished group of solution providers.”
