Microsoft is planning to team up with MCI to launch its outbound PSTN calling for click-to-call applications, according to a tipster at TheVoIPWeblog. Tom Keating who is not fully convince and remind Microsoft failure at Net Meeting and MSN/Messenger to attain users terminating to the PSTN.

Microsoft again being a little late to jump on the technology bandwagon will be tying up the new VoIP service with Windows Live Messenger. Rates not disclosed yet, but will be dependent on the country you are calling.
