Time is not so far to see the full and final rollout of Microsofts much-talked VoIP server, Office Communication Server 2007 and its client Office Communicator 2007. The software giant has made these VoIP components available for the manufacturers this week and gearing for official release after two months.
Jeff Raikes, President at Microsofts Business Division has confirmed that the Office Communication Server 2007 and the Office Communicator client are now code complete.
He further said,
With this milestone we are one step closer to delivering products that establish Microsoft as a major force in unified communications and voice.
Over the years, we have perceived Microsofts Live Communications as Corporate Messaging and Presence, rather VoIP services. With the launch of Office Communication Server 2007, Microsoft will provide VoIP service in its every applications including Word, Excel etc.
The business enterprises can reduce their telephone bills by 50 percent by using the new server and client system, explains Microsoft.
