Is Vonage in Trouble?
Source: www.voip-news.com
It slipped a little under the radar when it happened, but earlier this month, Vonage was put on notice by the New York Stock Exchange that they had fallen below the minimum average global market capitalization of no less than $100 million over a consecutive 30 trading day period. Failing to comply with NYSE requirements could lead to de-listing in the future.
But for now, Vonage is planning to submit a plan for compliance, which will be done sometime in the next month. The company will have 18 months to rebound to standards. However, if the NYSE doesn’t agree with the plan, the board can reject it …
If it’s rejected, then Vonage will be subject to delisting.
Ouch.
