Apple might have missed coming up with a VoIP iPod, but then the Fritz Mini is coming shortly that promises to offer much more than make up for the expectations raised and then failed by Apple.

The Fritz Mini is an all-in-one phone that has wireless phone music internet access. This amazing gadget also has a high-resolution colour display and it supports 802.11g WLAN, and USB 2.0 too.

With this ‘all-rounder’, you can make regular fixed-line phone calls as well as VoIP calls. Along with this you can listen to play mp3s, Internet radio, podcasts, and some other formats. Not only this, you can receive notification of about new email or text messages. You can also look at news, weather and other content like stocks on the Frtz Mini.

There is no word on the price yet. However we have to wait for a few more months for the release of this wonder machine.

I see a great potential for this device if it is ‘appropriately’ priced.
