Zdnet has covered an excellent article of Avi Shechter, CEO of Fring and former VP at AOL. Shechter has explored the concept of Mobile VoIP or mVoIP in a different prospective.

He writes,

It seems that, just as 2006 saw VoIP enter the mainstream, 2007 will see mobile VoIP make serious inroads and begin to disrupt the conventional mobile telephony model. Traditional operators will have to embrace this trend rather than ignore it, because one thing is certain: mVoIP is here to stay.

In fact, the growing popularity of mVoIP applications such as Mobiboo, Jajah, Truphone and Fring will attract the corporate world towards adoption of this form of VoIP services.
