Cisco Integrates Jabber into Web Conferencing

Source: andyabramson.blogs.com

Cisco is broadening their compatible market for web conferencing with the ability to work with Jabber protocol.

In my view this is all part of Cisco taking their TelePresence platform and extending it in many, spider like, directions.

Once they bring it all the way down to the Linksys level watch this be a game changer for how people communicate on a mass and one to one level. Obviously there’s a lot more behind TelePresence than meets the eye. It’s just how long it takes to roll out that is the question. Clearly Cisco has a very defined roadmap and they have started their journey.
