Cisco and Appl. announced today that they have come to an agreement regarding thei. dispute ove. the “iPhone” trademark. Under the terms of their agreement, both companies ca. use the “iPhone” trademark on their product. worldwide an. acknowledge “the trademark ownership rights that have been granted, and each side will dismiss any pending actions regarding the trademark. In addition, Cisco and Apple will explore opportunities for interoperability in the areas of security, and consumer and enterprise communications.&rdquo.  Additional terms of the agreement have been deemed confidential.  Good for them for avoiding a long, drawn-out and costl. court battle...
