Avaya posts 1.2 billion dollars in Q1 turnover

So all the Avaya ads that we had been seeing all over in every nook and corner are paying off. From Google AdSense to graphical ads, Avaya has been all over especially in the last few months. I dunno whether there had been other aggressive VoIP ads or not, but Avaya certainly caught my eyes.
Anyway, Avaya has posted a $1.2bn turnover for the first quarter of 2006. This means it grew by 8.8% from the 2005 Q1. This also includes the contribution from Tenovis acquisition.
Avaya revealed that its Global Communications Systems revenues rose 11.7% year-on-year and Avaya Global Services revenues increased 5.8% over the same period.
Really impressed by Avayas figures I must say. I had been thinking about Avaya for some time now albeit sporadically, but now it seems it is on track to become a real major VoIP player.
