anySIM 1.2 iPhone Elite Version, Boot loader 4.6 and FW 1.1.3 Unlock

Source: snapvoip.blogspot.com

iPhone Elite team has released UNLOCK FOR Baseband 4.02.13_G for iPhone 1.0.2, 1.1.1, or 1.1.2 jailbroken systems. But there is more to it than just down loading and running it.

  • The only way your baseband will be 4.02.13_G while you’re running 1.0.2 or 1.1.1 is if you updated then downgraded firmware
  • If you choose to run this on a jailbroken 1.1.2 system, you must be in Airplane Mode first. This is very important, because otherwise you will probably get stuck with a restore screen.
  • If you forget this Airplane Mode step in 1.1.2 and do end up with a restore screen, don’t panic — so far every single predicament you can get yourself into with software unlock steps can be fixed via normal FW restore or the DFU restore.

If your iPhone came with 4.02.13_G (aka 1.1.2) OUT OF THE BOX then do NOT use this unlock yet.

  • It hasn’t been tested with bootloaders other than BOOT03.09_M3S2
  • Very new iPhones (and all U.K. iPhones) come out of the box with BOOT04.06_M3S2.
  • If you’re in doubt, check the output of bbupdater -v or go into minicom and issue at+xgendata

The "u" version of anySIM1.2 was released to give more prominent credit to the original anySIM coders (it is a great app!). But the underlying executable and patch location are the same as in the release available here on Friday November 9th.A message on the forum by Tifel says that The dev team is working on unlocking the bootloader 4.6 of fw1.1.2. Please , show some patience until its finally done. You will be informed when it is and that it will be released before any crack at FW 1.1.3 that is rumored to be out soon
You never know where the real info will jump out from. So Do not forget to read every morsel of information. iPhone Elite has a Forum, Wiki and the dev Blog. All the links could be found here.
